The seed of growth has been planted by Mr. Shabbir Tambawala in the year 1976 and Sizer Metals has grown to be a high yield fruit bearing tree with his hard work and commitment of 40 plus years.
Ever since he was a child, he had a knack to be in business. It started with managing manufacturing operations of solder at his father’s office and grew from there on forward.
In 1976, he started building his own operation. That is when Sizer Metals was born, as his major proficiency had been nurtured in manufacturing solder; He leveraged his knowledge and started manufacturing solder sticks and wires. Solder is majorly made of tin and by manufacturing solder, he acquired more knowledge about tin which helped him optimize the business and in identifying the right source of tin that was available at the time. He grew the business by using tin scraps to manufacture solder sticks and wires.
This helped the business to optimize the margins and provide solder at a much competitive price than the larger market by doing this he was able to grow the business consistently and expand the client network by providing superior quality and service at the most competitive prices. This hard work resulted in capturing every client in the oil packaging market and having the largest chunk of the solder market.
His courage and strength grew when Mr. Abizer entered in the business and he nurtured him in the field of metals to grow the business in different dimensions.
We specialize in connecting the suppliers or manufacturers with end consumers in the industry. We procure base metals from our subsidiary company in Singapore which is affiliated with the London Metal Exchange and key manufacturers. Ferro alloys and minor metals are sourced directly, either through indenting agents in India as well as manufacturers in China, Europe and other parts of the world.
Tin is our largest book and this has been achievable only because we strive to be the best in this commodity. Our expertise in tin is developed because of our experience of over 40 Years in this commodity and our relationships with our clients. Our clients are spread across the globe using tin to make various finished products.
